HelpTime Released for Beta Testing

HelpTime has been released for "Beta" testing and we value your feedback.  We welcome you to try the site and provide input and suggestions. HelpTime makes it easy to manage event activities that need volunteer support.

How it works:
The general concept is: The event coordinator creates an event, adds tasks, participants (potential volunteers) and sends email - all from the site. The potential volunteers will follow a link in the email directly to the event and see a list of the things tasks that volunteers can sign up for. They click an open spot and their name fills in.

The system also allows you to create your own distribution lists (or you can share them with others). When you create a new event you can include all of the people on the distribution list automatically in the event – this means the volunteer list only has to be created once.

Your guests can just follow the link and “click” on what they would like to bring – It’s that easy.

HelpTime announces our dot com (.com) address

HelpTime is here to make it easier to lend a hand. We make it easier for people and organizations to setup events and ask for help of volunteers. We also make it easier for volunteers to sign up to support specific needs or tasks.

Well now we’ve made it even easier to find HelpTime on the web. As a site that helps to make volunteering easier we can be found at HelpTime.org, but we recognize that on the web most of us think and just automatically type .com. With that in mind, we now can be found at HelpTime.com as well as HelpTime.org.

Happy New Year and Welcome to 2011!

Here at HelpTime we are very excited for what we have to offer this year.  We soon we will be releasing a competely revised and updated version of our event management system.  Helping should be made easy.  It should be easy for the event coordinator to setup and even easier for people to volunteer to help out and lend a hand.
